Our desire is to see the next generation of leaders trained in the church and released from the church to impact society wherever God leads them in the future. The Pearl Church Internship Program is designed to provide experiences that will set each intern up for personal and spiritual growth, leadership development, and ministry training.

Over the course of an internship term, we will focus on:

  • Studying the Bible
  • Enhancing personal devotional life
  • Developing and applying leadership
  • Training in specialized ministry areas
  • Learning life skills
  • Serving alongside a local church in another nation

From the classroom to meeting with top leaders in the city of Denver to a missions trip overseas, Pearl Church Interns will grow personally and spiritually, develop and apply their leadership, and train in and take ownership of a specific ministry team.

Intern Advance

Throughout the course of an internship term, Pearl Church Interns have an opportunity to meet with top leaders in the city of Denver in different industries with the purpose of learning from top-level executives to advance in leadership, culture, team development, and more.

In the past, we have spent time with leaders in the following industries:

  • Health
  • Non-Profit
  • Sports & Entertainment
  • Restaurant & Hospitality

Learn directly from leaders and staff members of The Pearl Church on a variety of topics concerning relevant life issues impacting Kingdom service. Topics will include Bible knowledge, basic theology, and Christian worldview. This class time will shape and equip each intern for a fulfilling Christian life.

Pearl Church Interns will be involved in all aspects of the ministry from weekend service coordination, campus Bible studies, media, and community outreach. Interns will have the opportunity to become an integral part of The Pearl Church at every level of ministry.

Specific Ministry Tracks:

Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry Track will be a training ground for those who desire to be involved with youth ministry in the future, as well as place for those who have a heart for this generation to serve and disciple young people. Youth ministry is a large part of The Pearl Church and an intern will have the opportunity to be in the ground level of building a ministry that is impacting the whole region.

Worship Ministry
The Worship Ministry Track focuses on the cultivating a spirit of worship and growing in skills involved with worship. Interns following the worship track will be trained for worship ministry in the local church, as well as being mentored and coached in the greater principles and spirit of worship.

Media
The Media Track involves training on and taking ownership of tasks related to media, graphics, video production and live production video streaming for services. Interns will have an opportunity to be trained in the various avenues of audio and video production, including video, editing, camera work, Pro Presenter, media broadcasts, and much more. Graphic design and print publications are also included in this ministry.

Kids Ministry
In the Kids Ministry Track, you will be trained in philosophy, taught the vision of the children’s ministry, and have the privilege of serving and witnessing the vision to minister and raise up godly kids come to reality.

Church Administration
In the Church Administration Track, interns will be trained to serve alongside the Pearl Church Administration Team by assisting with church operations, event management, systems and database maintenance, donor management systems, and other administrative projects.

Employment
We understand that you may need to maintain employment to cover your personal expenses. If necessary, we encourage you to find part-time employment that is flexible as the internship may require late hours and sometimes last minute requests that may conflict with your ability to work. The main expectations is this, that during the internship term, that all interns prioritize all intern classes, events, and activities. If you have any questions about this, interns can discuss work schedule with TPC Internship Director.

If you are an international intern you will be required to show that the program can be paid for without working in the US. Employment opportunities in the church are possible for international interns but not guaranteed.

Ministry Trips
One of the vital parts of your experience as a Pearl Church Intern will come through participation in ministry trips which will include:
Supernatural Conference – The Church LV in Las Vegas, NV (October 2018)
Jesus Culture Conference – Jesus Culture in Sacramento, CA (February 2019)
An international missions trip – Location TBD (May 2019)
A percentage of your tuition is allocated for trip expenses, primarily the airfare. Depending upon the specifics for each trip, there may be additional expenses that you will be responsible for in order to participate. Additional mission trip information will be sent to you as details are finalized.

Spiritual Covering
It is essential for success in this program that your spiritual authorities are in unity with your decision to participate in The Pearl Church Interns. Without the covering of your pastors, parents, and other important leaders and mentors it will be difficult have total peace concerning your involvement in this program. It is your spiritual covering that can help assess your maturity and readiness for a program of this type. The leadership and blessing is important throughout the year.

Tuition for Pearl Church Interns is $3,800.00 per year per student. This does not include the cost of housing and food. The tuition covers all courses, books, materials, manuals, conference fees, administrative expenses and a portion of your ministry trips. Upon acceptance into the intern program, the finance department will mail an invoice for the required initial payment, along with any forms that may need to be completed.

Interns are required to pay a minimum initial payment for $1,500 by July 25th. The remaining balance will be divided into monthly installments for the months of September – May. Monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month and begin in September. Tuition payments may be paid in full at any point throughout the program.
